Jon Feldman Electric Band

 

Founded in January 2016, the Electric Band is rooted in the groove jazz of the 1960s by the likes of

Herbie Hancock, Lee Morgan, and Jimmy Smith.  It is a jazz and blues band, featuring Eric St-Laurent

on electric guitar, Bret Higgins on electric bass, Andrew Austin on drums, and Feldman on Rhodes

and keyboards, with special guest Kevin Turcotte on trumpet.  The band played a weekly residency

in March 2016 at Orchard Bar (1174 Bloor St. West).  The band has just finished mixing its first full

length album which was recorded on March 18-19 2016 at the Canterbury Music Company.
