Electric Band Canterbury Sessions

I just spent two amazing days at the Canterbury Music Company with engineer Jeremy Darby and an amazing group of musicians working on the new Electric Band record. The first day we recorded as a quartet, with Eric St-Laurent on electric guitar, Bret Higgins on electric bass and Drew Austin on drum kit, with myself on Fender Rhodes. On the second day we added the amazing Kevin Turcotte on trumpet and recorded as a quintet. I ventured out and played Hammond B3 on one track, and clav on another couple of tracks. It's really fun music to play and the guys made it come to life. Looking forward to the mixing session with Jeremy in a couple of weeks. This record is going to be really groovy, people are going to want to get down and dance to these tracks!
